Exhibitor’s FAQs

To access the WiFi network, kindly visit the customer happiness desk situated at the end of the Atrium near the Grand Stand. There, you can request your unique username and password for WiFi connectivity. If you prefer to request this information via email, please reach out to our dedicated customer services team at customer.services@adnec.ae.

Additionally, if you require WiFi services for your booth, you can conveniently place an order through the exhibitor portal. In the event that you have not received the exhibitor portal link, please don’t hesitate to contact our operations team at operations@umexabudhabi.ae, who will be glad to provide you with the necessary assistance.

Exhibitors could potentially receive a specific number of car park passes depending on the size of their stand and their company. To determine whether you have been granted a parking pass, please contact our operations team via email at: operations@umexabudhabi.ae. Further information regarding parking arrangements and the collection of allocated parking passes will be provided closer to the event.

Exhibitors who wish to take handheld and locally transported goods offsite must complete a Security form listing the items to be removed. You can obtain these forms from the organizers by reaching out to the organisers office onsite, providing you with the necessary authorization for the removal of items. Please note, it is not permitted to remove items used to exhibit till the last day of the show. You can refer to the Exhibition Schedule available in the manual on the Exhibitor Portal. Should you require further assistance, please visit the  MICCO Logistics Office onsite or email us operations@umexabudhabi.ae

If you require an extension for your stand to be completed on time, please send an email to operations@umexabudhabi.ae to request for an extension or visit the organisers office onsite during build- up from 09:00hrs to 17:00hrs . Our team will review your request and provide the necessary assistance.

Exhibitors may carry essential items related to their exhibition setup and promotional materials in their hand carry bags. This can include items such as laptops, tablets, brochures, business cards, promotional USB drives, and small demonstration models.

Additionally, it is recommended to obtain the End User Certificate (EUC) and Exhibitor Participation letter through the exhibitor portal, as these documents serve as official authorizations and confirmations of your participation in the event. Holders of a contractor badge are granted access to the site during the build-up and breakdown periods. On the other hand, individuals with a maintenance contractor badge can access the site exclusively during the show days. 

Please note, ADNEC operates a paid wristband system, all Maintenance Contractors requiring access during the show days must purchase a Maintenance Contractor Wristband for AED 255 per day per person and for all Contractors requiring access during build up and break down must purchase a Contractor wristband for AED 25 per day per person. 

Safety vests and other stationery items are available for purchase at the convenience store(baqala) located at the end of the atrium, opposite the innovation lab.

Exhibitors have the sole responsibility of ensuring the security of their exhibits and any personal items. It is strongly advised not to leave materials unsecured on the stands, particularly at the end of the day or after the exhibition concludes. 

Exhibitors are urged to install a safety lock in their booth to safeguard their items which can be conveniently purchased through the exhibitor portal. Please refer to Section 5 in exhibitor manual available on the exhibitor’s portal.

For all your freight forwarding and onsite handling needs, Micco Logistics is the exclusive service provider for UMEX & SimTEX. It is important to plan ahead and discuss your end-to-end requirements with Micco Logistics well in advance. They can assist you with various logistics assistance such as forklifts, trolleys, helpers and more. Please note that the use of your own equipment or lifting contractors onsite is not permitted to maintain safety standards. To ensure the safe handling of large or heavy items, it is recommended to rely on Micco Logistics. For further information or to book their services, please contact them at FE.MICCO@adports.ae.

The allocation of VIP passes for Exhibitors is based on stand size and company. Rawand Chahin, from our Registration Team, will communicate with exhibitors to confirm the number of VIP passes that may be allocated to them.  For any inquiries regarding VIP passes, please contact: rawand.chahin@adnec.ae

Exhibitor Badges allow access throughout the setup, open, and breakdown periods. During the buildup days, access will be granted with wristbands if badge approval is still pending. The wristbands can be purchased onsite for AED 25 per day per person. Should you require further information, please contact our Registration Team at : registration@umexabudhabi.ae

To secure a meeting room reservation for UMEX & SimTEX, kindly reach out to Shahla Karim, our dedicated sales representative, via email at shahla.karim@adnec.ae. We advise you to note that meeting room availability is subject to demand and scheduling constraints.

To register for the next edition of the event, exhibitors have a couple of options available to them. The first option is to register onsite by visiting the sales team at the organizers’ office. There will be dedicated personnel from the sales team who will assist exhibitors with the registration process and provide them with all the necessary information and forms or you can get in touch with shahla Karim via email at shahla.karim@adnec.ae, the designated sales contact for UMEX & SimTEX.
